Do you have what it takes to be crowned the U.P.’s next big voice? Join us for the 4th annual UP Voice Singing Competition at Gallery Coffee Company! Soloists and duets are invited to showcase their talent and compete for cash prizes and gift cards to local businesses.
How to Enter:
Submit a 2:30-minute video via Gallery Coffee Company’s Facebook Messenger starting October 25th through November 22nd. Be sure to state and spell your full name at the beginning of the video. Submissions are limited to solo or duet performances—no bands or karaoke setups. Only 20 finalists will be selected to perform live on December 5th!
Important Dates:
Video submissions: October 25 – November 22
Finalists notified by: November 25
Live event: December 5, doors open at 5:00 PM, performances start at 6:30 PM.
Live Performance Rules:
Solo or duets only, performing acapella, with a guitar or harmonica, or using an mp3 track (no bands or karaoke setups).
Performances must be no longer than 2:30 minutes.
No stage props allowed, and contestants will have 2 minutes to set up.
Contestants will be judged on a 10-point system, with the winner crowned based on total points.
Prizes:
1st Place: $500 + local gift cards
2nd Place: $300 + local gift cards
3rd Place: $200 + local gift cards
Contestants must sign a release form, and any contestants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian accompany them. A parent or guardian must also sign the release form for contestants under 18.
